How to Install and Configure

Step 1: Install the App

Click "Install Now" from the Pipedrive App Marketplace and authorize the application. You will be automatically redirected to your integration Dashboard.

Step 2: Sync Your Pipedrive Environment

On the Dashboard, click the blue "Sync Pipedrive Environment" button.

What this does: This automatically creates the required "GCLID" custom field inside your Pipedrive account and sets up the background webhooks to listen for Won deals.

Step 3: Connect Google Ads

Scroll down to the Google Ads Configuration section on the Dashboard.

  • Enter your Google Ads Customer ID (formatted as XXX-XXX-XXXX).
  • Enter your Conversion Action ID. You can choose to trigger a Sale, an Opportunity, or a Lead in Google Ads. Fill out the ID for the specific action you want to track.
  • Click "Save Configuration".

Step 4: Map the GCLID (Important!)

For the integration to work, you must ensure that your website forms are capturing the gclid parameter from your Google Ads traffic and passing it into the newly created "GCLID" custom field in Pipedrive. Once the GCLID is attached to the person/deal, the app will automatically handle the hashing and upload when the deal changes status!
